The Brampton Newfoundlanders & Friends Hockey Association (BNFHA), or Newfie Hockey League (NHL), is an oldtimers (45 and older) league operating since 1983. Games are played on Sundays at 11:00 or 12:00 at the Terry Miller Recreation Centre.

Players interested in joining the league should apply to be on the "Spare List". Players on this list are invited to play in games when teams are short staffed. Full-time positions due to injuries and retirements are filled from this list. To apply for this list email mike22lawson@hotmail.com
